DeMar DeRozan was name-dropped by Kendrick Lamar amid his extremely publicised rap beef with Drake.

Kendrick is referencing DeRozan leaving the Toronto Raptors, Drake’s hometown ballclub and the workforce he serves as a world ambassador for.

When Lamar says “dwelling”, he seems to be referring to DeRozan leaving Canada and coming again to america.
DeRozan was traded from Toronto to San Antonio in 2018. He then joined the Chicago Bulls in 2021.

DeRozan and Lamar are mates and are each from Compton.
